Fate and Numbers

Reaching the last match of the season, Golden Little Mask and White Samurais FC are not placed in the series as they expected when they stepped in a new division with lots of hopes, dreams and a very hard-working team.

Golden is condemned to relegation, more or less. Competition proved to be tough in series VII.422, but all the last places (7th, 6th, 5th) were separated only by 3-4 points, with still 3 matches to play, which made the team believe they could avoid relegation and sneak in to maintain the category. However, the master plan of the Manager didn't quite fit the purpose, and despite the great play the team tried to exhibit, it was not enough. The inability to gain points away, and some bad performances, put Golden where it is now, at 7th place, only 1 point below 6th placed Otti United and with everything against in the last match--away, vs 2nd placed Ondolindë. The team will take their chances, but fate seems to be written already.

87840, is the total TSI of Golden Little Mask (Otti United - 6th - has 106130, and FC Rietlanden - 5th - 210350).

White Samurais FC, is not going through such a different situation. Despite, what it was supposed to be, an amazing come-back the team got stuck in the 6th position never to be able to advance out of the relegation zone. Even though, direct relegation was indeed avoided, now the samurais will need to play the match of the season, against a challenger from the below division, and of course win, in order to maintain the category and aim for a better performance in the upcoming season. This situation is making the players and the coaching team to lose their sleep. Preparation is being taken for the relegation match, and samurais will put all the wood in the fire for that.

81 was the calification for White Samurais in their 1st match of the season, which improved greatly since mid-season, and become 131 in the last match, reaching the best performance ever of the team.

Golden Club

**Golden entangled asfixiates slowly**

Impotence, sadness, anger, contempt, all the words described by the faces in the training sessions of the team. Team has done their best and keep trying to avoid relegation, however it looks we're always 1 inch away. Only 3 matches left, chances of success are limited. Tonight Golden needs a win or a win in order to keep the chase towards the 6th and 5th places, all within their grasp, and keep the hope to avoid relegation. A win today will also condemn 8th placed Noordburgum Helden to relegation. There're still a few weeks of thrilling action in the series.

**Mascaritas keep leading their series**

The chaps from the youth division keep doing a great job and remain on top of their game. Although, improvement is seen in other teams of the series, putting a challenge on every match. 1st placed Mascaritas had been on top the whole season and lost only 1 match against Milan City U19, and had some challenging matches with FC Wolvers. With those opponents behind, the remaining 3 matches should be relatively easier but still to be played. Last match will face the team against Sprout, an opponent who came out strong this season and raised against all expectations, now they're 2nd only 3pts behind or lads.

That's all for now, bye.

White Samurais Club

**Samurais battle continues, until the end**

Ever since the new management has been assigned to the team, WS shown impressive profesionalism and spirit in order to keep moving forward. The team was placed last in their series, now is in a, still ackward, 6th position,  with slim chances to save the category without having to play permanence matches. LEX League (4th) is 5 pts ahead with 2 matches until the end of season and faces 5th position team tonight, any of the possible results will not be favorable to the Samurais, so the coaching team is already looking forward to the permanence matches and will try to do the best in the last 2 matches of the season. On the other hand, 7th placed Licula FC is 6 points away from the Samurais, making it still mathematically possible for them to equal the Samurais and save direct demotion.

Today's matches will certainly define the future of all the teams in this Series.

**Ashigaru reaching form in the longest season ever known**

After playing a 4-teams league, and being deceived by the low amount of matches played, the Management Team subscribe the youth team to a 16-teams league, with teams from all around the world. All the opponents are new, and every week we have the chance to see new talents coming out to the pitch. Big challenge for the young warriors, certainly these lads will be the ones to bring rejuvenation to the First Team soon.

Golden push its luck for last half of the season

The team gets strong at home and proved it last weekend, however it wasn't enough to claim a win and match ended 1-1. Opponents showed a lot of courage and more than an exhausted Golden's mid-field.

Romanian lion, Ionel Bâlea, got cut in the head and was attended by Golden's doctors, coming back to play with his head bandaged. Tobias Halbaek suffered a similar fate but had to be replaced by Marco Ziza after an unfortunate collision with a rival. Markus Ueberschär saved the night and pumped everyone's heart beat until the end of the match,  after he put the equalizer at 35' of the first half. Rival side didn't put all the wood in the fire, and match was rather boring in the second half.

Both teams seemed comfortable with the result, although Golden's compromissing position. Next match will be a great challenge for a Golden side, as they receive top series Grûnn FC. Will Golden be able to sneak a win out of this or get at least one point at home?
Answer will be answered next weekend for sure.

Until then, have a nice week! :)

Golden Mascaritas unbeaten

Seven matches played, 6 wins and 1 tie, leaves Golden's youth team currently unbeaten in the AAA Superleague, and with an advanntage of five points against current runner-ups  FC Wolvers Jr.

The young Mascaritas don't stop binging surprises and keep the pace securing valuable points during the season. Last match close 0-1 win (away) leaves them with the feeling that the most difficult part of the season just passed, and now is all the way down the roller-coaster. Next match will meet latest rivals, however the Golden Ring will roar with fans to support the young talents this club has to bring. Winning next match will certainly put Golden one big step closer to the top position this season.

On the other hand, replacements need to be found urgently, as a few players are reaching now 19 years old and won't be able to finish the season with the team. Their will either be going up to the 1st time, or out of the club.

Looking forward to see next match display and hope it will end in victory for the young pups.

Ashigaru Runners stomped their way and aim for first youth award

New Management in the club has also helped in the organization of the youth division, which jumped from last to second place in 3 matches, and is only 3 points away from first position Chispita.

For Ashigaru next match is win or die, as they're 3 points away and even winning they need to beat goal difference in order to remain top. Quite a challenge, but not impossible, given the latest display from the young chaps.

Scouts had been doing their part though, as they secured a decent goalie, Mark Nettles, and keep bringing mid-field talents to keep possession of the ball and chances. When you have put such a pass that leaves your team mate 1-on-1 with the keeper, even if the scorer is bad, you have 50% chance of scoring. Then if the scorer is good, the odds are unbeatable. The defence is placed at the mid-field, and team play is the most important thing.

Lots of emotion for WS youth team's last match, they sure will earn a page in the club's history after this.

Samurais ruled out direct threat

Ever since new coach arrived and directives from the Management staff changed their view, Samurais had been raising like the big red sun in a sunset full of heart and victory.

Despite a contundent 5-0 loss agasint mid-table LEX LEAGUE, crucial win 4-0 against Los Chotis and two consecutive wins against LICULA FC (1-2 away, 1-0 home) puts the Samurais into a comfortable 6th position, saving the category.

"So far the plan is in action and is giving results", said WS coach Davide Di Liberto, "we need to keep training, putting the team in good form, and still get as high as possible in the series". When asked about his arrival to the team and acceptance on his ideas he said, "It was a very good experience. Here the weather is warm, food is nice, like back in Italy. This, and the fact I know part of the club's Management Team, made me feel comfortable and helped to put the plan in place. Now is just a matter of getting the results".

White Samurais beat direct opponent LICULA FC and stands its ground for further challenges. Next match against Los Chotis should secure their place in the series, shall they win.

Best of luck for WS!

Uruguay Series V.65 - A Samurai struggle

After a 4-0 win at home, against a dead last side of Los Chotis, White Samurais put all the meat in the barbecue, as next match is the most important match of the season, or at list the one that could bring the first step forward to stay on V series.

The new coach team was well received by the fans, whom initially were a bit thoughtful about the path their club was seeking, specially after a 4-0 friendly defeat against an invited Italian Team. However, that first touches and tweaks in the formation and tactic allowed the coaching team to make adjustments and following weekend they scored 4-0 against Los Chotis. Last Wednesday, the team played against IctiGa Fun Club, winning 2-1 with a golden goal out of a free-ckick at 100', after 90' of a battled 1-1, where Samurais had slightly advantage on chances, but IctiGa the same in possession. Equally matched, Uruguayans and Hungarians, put a good display of football, heart and soul, and coaching team got what they initially wanted, good football and the result.

WS faces LICULA FC this Sunday, and if they emerge victorious it will be an amazing result to step forward and be a threat to everyone in the series.

AAA Super League roars with excitement

AAA Super League, series where Golden Youth Team competes, is on fire and it looks that all the youth teams are reaching a good level of parity, enough to make the series quite exciting reaching the end of the first half of the season.

The Golden Mascaritas are on top of the roster, only due to goal difference, as FC wolvers Jr. has the same ammount of points. An emergent Sprout team is trying to catch up and had put very good matches to stay on 4th position and same points that Milan City U19, which is 3rd due to goal difference. 4 points separate 1st and 2nd from 3rd and 4th, and next match will be decisive, as Golden Mascaritas (1st) face Milan city U19 (3rd), and FC Wolvers (2nd) face Sprout (4th). Certainly, the future of the series will be determined by the results of these matches.

Golden's youth, is bearing the suspension, due to red card, of two of his defenders, however will put all their mid-field arsenal into play to compensate and overrun Milan City U19. At the same time, fingers are crossed for Sprout to win over FC Wolvers.

In the lower part of the roster, there's a team that shall not be overlooked: AS Latina Juniores. Currently on 5th position, they have still time for a come back if they win against FC Varmanakki, as only 1 point separate them from 3rd and 4th position.
As for Konde-Cosworth, they also expect to win against dead last Petarditas FC, and climb some places to see if they can be the annoying fly shitting in the barbecue.

Enough youtth news for now, have fun and stay tune for the 1st team match tonight!

Golden used Helping Hand, WS attack and speed rose. WS gain trample, flying, vigilant and double-strike

Some people from Golden Management Team had been advising WS on strategy and sent a some reinforcements.  Most noticeable one was the new coach and coaching staff. Also a new scout was signed for the youth team.

WS  has not been performing well, and was requiring a twist on ideas and training. Their Management Team was more than happy to open the doors of their club, and supported us on all necessary changes. A few players from the first team are not taken into consideration and were released over the past week. Same goes for some youth players as well. No new transfers had been planned so far as we don't want to threaten the club's economy.

WS is placed 6th in the V.65 series, lost all 5 matches played, received 28 goals and scored only 2. This critical position is enough motivation to put everything we have in play and maintain the category.
This is a very tough series, as top teams have been playing at this level for a couple of seasons, and recently promoted teams are pretty strong. Pigteam was 3rd last season, and now placed 1st looks like the best candidate for the title and a shot for promotion. However, Huracan (demoted from IV series) is following closely and making life impossible to the new club's aspirations. Chirolita cc and Licula FC, are both new to the series and the first is performing very well, against any predictions, although the later is one of WS direct rivals to maintain category. Lex League and CA Caballeros de la Mesa, are being a complete disappointment to far, due to the history they carry on this series (had been already mid-table teams for a couple of seasons) and are being surpassed by newcomers. Finally, Los Chotis, found a very harsh time at the beginning of the series. Previous season's 2nd found themselves with no manager for the start of this season, and that affected the staff and players, cutting every aspirations to put any fight on the struggle for title and promotion. Instead, they are placed last and will be WS energizer snack this weekend, hopefully to put them where they belong and with the possibility to gain some sneakie points and climb the roster a bit.

Regarding the youth team, Ashigaru Runners, it has been a struggle to organize the lads and select at least 11 to play. Series is short and tough, as all other youth teams are more experienced or organized than WS' (all of them belonging to V series clubs). However, not everything floating in the canal is shit, and after releasing a lot of young junkies and 'good-for-nothing' players, we observed 11 young fellas that could be putting a better organized football. Although there's still a big drawback in the team, the fact they don't have a good keeper.
Probably we'll need to find a better youth league for the lads, longer and to play against more accesible teams.  Set the lads mind to play for fun and not for a living. The ball is your friend.

That's all for now, stay tuned for some Golden's news later on.
