Today's victory was due to incredible hattrick by Jeen Sieraal, mid-fielder explosion by Markus Ueberschär, and Olaf Meutstege's bullseye on set pieces. Mid-field worked perfectly on playmaking, creating several chances to score. The team's set pieces ability improved quickly on our latest training sessions, raising efectiveness when dealing with free kicks or corners. I'd say 35% of our goals were scored due to a free kick or corner kick.
There's still many things to improve, so hard work and training is never ending. We have a new friendly match ahead for next week, against a stronger opponent than MEC: GVAV 88
We'll be trying players in new positions and different tactics and see how the team reacts.
We'll be having news tomorrow regarding our plans on playing a friendly cup with international teams from Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and Italy. Harimau FC will be playing as well, so we'll be playing another classic derby against them.
