Friendly match stressed key player

The team stumbled on the last friendly match (yesterday) against TeamTimson. We were applying some changes on formation and playmaking. The players didn't feel too comfortable with it, apparently.

Losing 2-5 was not the worst thing as Ernesto's suffered an injury on his left ankle, after a very unlucky turn. Our medics estimate 2 weeks out of the fields for him, thus our hopes rely on another young italian mid-fielder: Ennio Mangano.

We wish a quick recovery for Ernesto. He knows the team supports him at all times.

Promotion and Series secured

We're very happy to announce that promotion and top position in our series are both secured, with two matches in advance--although promotion was already achieved last week.

10 points difference between us and the runner-up (lipvis) shows the consistent work of our staff and the players dedication through the whole season. The ever loving fans played their part as well, thus this victory is also for them.

We'll give no quarters for the last two matches. We want the last 6 pts of the tournament in order to reach a perfect result on this season, so Loesje and Groningen will have to really fight for it.
